The man in green

As stated previously I have a little boy that LOVES tractors. So of course we had to get him a tractor shirt. Great Grandpa Marquardt will be so proud since he is also in love with the green tractor.

My bed??

We bought a changing table this weekend because its just more convenient with having hardwood floors and SOMEONE seems to think that its their new bed because they have been sleeping here for a few days. He doesn't even move if Logan is put on there to be changed.

New hang out

Logan has found a new spot to hang out and watch tv. The funny thing is he only watches for about 2 minutes before he feels the need to get up and run run run.

Future Ball player??

We may have a future ball player on our hands. Mom and Dad are thrilled of course. We recently bought Logan a tee and he has to hit every day. He has to hit off the tee, he has to hit without the tee, mom and dad have to hit-any way we can play ball every day he is all for it. Brian thinks our video doesn't do him justice, he thought we needed better footage of him hitting. So, needless to say, Dad is very proud of Logan's stance and skills. He also already has a glove but our skills are not there yet on the catching. So, we will have to see what the future brings for our munchkin!

Minnesota Zoo

Yesterday we went to the Minnesota Zoo. We seemed to have made this a yearly trip now that we have had Logan. We had a great time. This year it was Randi, Sydney, Jeremy, Brian, Logan and myself. Logan seemed to enjoy himself, he slept all the way home from the cities and then went back to bed an hour after we got home and slept through until almost 8 this morning. He was obviously wiped out.

Our first family picture at the zoo.

Logan loved looking into the big aquarium with Randi.

My favorite part of the zoo was the butterfly garden (shock I know).

Jeremy was lucky enough to have one land on him. He looks thrilled doesn't he?
I always knew there was a reason I called him monkey arms. Look how long they are!

Logan liked looking at the "kitties".

These little guys were Logan's favorites though. He liked them last year also. I thought it was fun seeing how much Logan has changed from last year. Last year he wasn't too interested in what was going on but this year he wanted to see all the animals and some for a long time- like the monkeys tight rope walking.

Logan's favorite part of the farm. He is in love with tractors and I haven't figured out where this comes from since we don't live on a farm. He was pretty scared around the goats though.

And our last family picture right before we were leaving. I was so done by this time. I think I am getting too old for the heat all day. Being pregnant doesn't help that situation as well I am sure. After the zoo we hit up Chuck E. Cheese and the kids had some more fun there. Logan had to ride the car with Chuck E. Cheese that takes your picture. We have at least 6 pictures of him on it. I have some from last year too and he looks so much more big. In August we are planning a trip to the Mall of America when we are watching Sydney so we will have to see how that one will go.

Parade

Things have been busy around here lately. We have dealt with me getting scratched in the eye, Logan having a NASTY ear infection (his ear drum ruptured), softball, trying to get the house in order, etc etc. The list can go on and on. We have made some time for fun. We have spent a few afternoons at Flandrau, the kiddy pool, and last Sunday before I went to work I took Logan to watch the parade. Brian was walking in the parade but I unfortunantly did not get to take a picture of him because my sister's boyfriend and friends decided to pelt him with water balloons (not happy by the way.)

Logan LOVED the parade. He loved the horses and watching everything go by. He was waving at all the people too.

Towards the end he was catching on that you have run out and get the candy. So, he would run out into the street to get candy. At first he would get a piece and eat it right away. At the end we ended up with a bag full of candy.

New Color

Well, on Tuesday and Wednesday my sister's nice boyfriend came over and painted our living room. I am so happy with the new color scheme.

Here is a before picture:

I am not a fan of the gold color.

And here are some afters:

Its much more calming and relaxing. I told Jeremy that I wanted a tan/khaki color that was in our couch and he picked out the perfect one. I also added brown curtains to our windows and the colors go together awesome. I told my mom that I think my taste is changing as I get older.

Now, we just have to hang some decorations and we will be finished with the living room.

Playroom

I took these pictures on Wednesday when the kids were actually being quiet and not fighting with each other for once. I am glad to see the playroom was getting some good use out of it.

I asked him to say "Cheese" and this is the face I got. It makes me laugh.

Sydney looking angelic in this picture.

Como Zoo

Auntie Randi was brave today and took both Sydney and Logan to the Como zoo for the day since she has the weekend off. I recieved this text letting me know they were on their way home.

The kids must have had fun because they look like they are pooped out!

Gnat bite

My poor baby got a gnat bite on his eye. It looks awful. After a trip to the dr we were told to give him some benedryl and put Absorbin Jr. on him when he goes outside so the gnats wont bug him.

Sorry the picture is so blurry- he would only cooperate for cell phone pictures.
