Christmas Time

Christmas time around this house is really busy. Especially with the job I am in. So, Christmas came really fast this year. I have been exhaused (8:30 bedtime anyone?) and very glad its over.

This was our second year with our wonderful little man. He enjoyed opening presents although after the third or fourth one, he just wanted to give up on them. Grandma and Grandpa Marquardt went a little overboard with his presents but he got a lot of GREAT stuff.

Here is one of his presents that he got from them. Sorry about the crappy pictures they are from my cellphone, it was the closest thing I had and Logan moves fast.

A new Cars chair. I had been telling them that they should get him one of those little squishy chairs because he always was sitting in them at my parents house. This is what they found. He loves it. Its a little wobbly for him yet but he enjoys it!

Here he is watching football with Pooh. Funny story about Pooh. You see he is my neice Sydney's or I should say WAS. I gave Sydney Pooh and Pablo from the Backyardagains. Well, they ended up in a box headed back to our house. Pooh walks and Pablo sings the Backyardagains song. They are both rather noisy but Logan loves them.

I should have taken a picture of our living room. It looks like a toy box exploded all over. Brian unpacked all Logan's toys and had them all set up for him in front of our tv. I will be looking for a Toy box to be on sale here soon. Toys are overtaking my living room and I don't like it!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday season and enjoys the New Year. Think of me.... I will be working. Boo hoo.

Santa

Today Santa was visiting at the Credit Union so Logan, Sydney and myself went down to see him. We finally took a family picture by the Christmas Tree there. Logan was a little distracted by all the people.

Logan did AWESOME with Santa. They were buddies. He just hung out on his lap and then Santa put him down and he just hung out down by his legs.

Chicks dig scars

Logan got his first boo boo on his face this last week at daycare. He tripped and went face first into the chair, didn't even cry. But, chicks dig scars right? (My poor baby.)

First Haircut

Last weekend I decided that it was finally time to take Logan to get his first haircut. So, down to Roger's we went. I had Brian hold Logan since he had to stay there after Logan to get his hair cut anyway.

Here is his before picture.

I tried for an after picture and this is what he gave me. :)

Smush cake

Its been a while since I have updated this. Things have been extremely busy around here and at work for both Brian and I. Lets start where we left off. Logan's birthday has come and gone. On the actual day of his birthday we gave him the smush cake that came with his birthday cake. I wanted him to enjoy it just for him and for us as a family. Needless to say, he enjoyed it. Just watch.

Logan's Birthday Party

Logan turns ONE on Tuesday the 17th. I can't believe my little baby boy is a year old already. I have loved every single minute of mommyhood and wouldn't change a single thing. This last Saturday we had his birthday party. It was a small party, but full of love.

My ham

Our ham is growing up so fast. He definitely likes to take pictures!

New Cousin

On November 3, we added a new cousin into the mix. Brian's sister, Lori, had a baby boy, Brady William. The following weekend Brian went up to see his new nephew, while I worked and I sent the camera along with him. So, here are some pictures of the happy grandparents and all their grandbabies.

Here is Lincoln, Grandma, Logan, Brady, Grandpa and Anna.

Here is Grandpa hanging out with Brady.

Bringing Sexy Back

Logan is bringing sexy back.

Music Man

Here is our little music man.

Climbing

Mr. Bravery has been getting more and more daring lately. His new thing is that he likes to climb on things. The one day I walked into the kitchen to grab something and I came back and he was standing on our couch. He had pulled off the pillow and used it to step on. His new thing is standing on his toy cubbies and sometimes toys themselves. He will take his cubbies and push them against things like the chairs and our bookshelf.

ECFE Halloween

Tonight we went with Sydney and Randi to the ECFE Halloween party at the Elementary School. The kids got to dress up and play some games. Logan seemed to have a good time.

Here is a picture of Sydney and Logan before we left the house. Sydney is "Super Girl" and Logan is a monkey. A cute one if I do say so myself.

Here is when we tried getting a picture of Logan and Sydney in their picture area. Logan was having no part of the sitting down.

Here is a picture of Logan and I when Sydney was playing with Playdoh.

Here is Logan at the end of the night. He fell asleep right after bath time. We must have worn him out.

So close

Logan is getting pretty close to walking now. He will take four or five steps on his own and then he drops down. Its pretty exciting to watch!

Pumpkinland

This last weekend we went to Pumpkinland which is located in Vernon Center, MN. It was not what I expected and we ended up kind of disappointed. Brian, myself, Logan, my sister, Randi, my neice, Sydney and Sheila my friend from work all went to Pumpkinland.

Here is the only good picture I got of Logan by the pumpkins.

There was a train that you could ride around the place so, Sydney, Sheila, Logan and Randi all went on it. (A couple times.)

Here is Randi and Logan getting ready to ride. He loved it. Can't you tell?

Here is Brian carrying Logan through the corn maze. He enjoyed walking through that too.

Here is the Goblirsch family. Aren't we cute? Kinda tubby, but cute.

Caught in the act

Logan was caught red handed. Playing with his favorite appliance of course. The vaccumm for those that don't know.

Dad wants what?

Hmm... I wonder where Brian is pushing for Logan to go to school. Can anyone tell me?

What? Messy? Me?

Logan had a lot of fun at Daycare a few weeks ago- can you tell? Can you also tell that Daddy dressed him this morning? It was the day when the Vikes played the Packers.

First tooth

Today I felt Logan's first tooth. Its starting to pop through, which might explain his runny nose and crying out in the night! I am so excited!

My favorite appliance

Logan has a favorite appliance. He has been in LOVE with this appliance since he has been 2 months old. Take a look!

New Game

Logan has this little game that he plays. He takes his cars and throws them all around the room and then chases them and throws them again. Dad is proud, he thinks he has a future baseball player on his hands, that is a lefty too (well we think he is going to be anyway).

Future Rocker

I have a future rocker on my hands here. Logan just started doing this the other day and I was cracking up!

Someone save me

Logan found a new place to hang out. Mommy just happened to lock him in there (only for a moment.)
Chloe was not liking Logan's new home. He wanted to check things out because no one is taking over his home!

My Favorite Time

Logan's absolute favorite time of the day is when we have bath time. He loves being in the bath.

Hermann Parade

Since it has been the Hermann the German celebration this weekend they had fireworks and a parade to go along with the festivities. Last night we were driving home from Marshall and saw the fireworks from the highway. This morning we decided to go to the Hermann parade since it was going right past my grandpa/our house. We went up to my grandpa's since i didn't know anyone who lived on the opposite corner from us. I was not impressed with the parade to say the least but it kept Logan occupied for a little bit.

Here Logan is sitting on the curb with Daddy waiting for the parade to start. He does exactly what his father does when the sun is in his eyes (squints).

Hidden under those two little hands is a sucker. They threw one onto our blanket and Logan was ALL OVER IT! He had that thing in his mouth faster than we could even get it.

Cousin Anna's Birthday party

Yesterday we headed out of town to go visit Anna, Lincoln, Aunt Christine, and Uncle Eric for Anna's 3rd birthday party! Logan had a blast. He was so pooped out when we left being that he fell asleep right away in the car.

Here are the kids playing on the couch.

The boys are fighting for Grandpa's attention.
Here is Anna patiently waiting for her birthday gifts.
Here Anna is waiting while her mom is helping her with the cards.

Here is Lincoln wearing Anna's new winter jacket she got for her birthday.

First injury

Well, last week Logan got his first bruise. He was going for the hymnals at church when he nailed his head on the pew in front of him. You can see it on his forehead over his right eye.
