Hermann Parade

Since it has been the Hermann the German celebration this weekend they had fireworks and a parade to go along with the festivities. Last night we were driving home from Marshall and saw the fireworks from the highway. This morning we decided to go to the Hermann parade since it was going right past my grandpa/our house. We went up to my grandpa's since i didn't know anyone who lived on the opposite corner from us. I was not impressed with the parade to say the least but it kept Logan occupied for a little bit.

Here Logan is sitting on the curb with Daddy waiting for the parade to start. He does exactly what his father does when the sun is in his eyes (squints).

Hidden under those two little hands is a sucker. They threw one onto our blanket and Logan was ALL OVER IT! He had that thing in his mouth faster than we could even get it.

Cousin Anna's Birthday party

Yesterday we headed out of town to go visit Anna, Lincoln, Aunt Christine, and Uncle Eric for Anna's 3rd birthday party! Logan had a blast. He was so pooped out when we left being that he fell asleep right away in the car.

Here are the kids playing on the couch.

The boys are fighting for Grandpa's attention.
Here is Anna patiently waiting for her birthday gifts.
Here Anna is waiting while her mom is helping her with the cards.

Here is Lincoln wearing Anna's new winter jacket she got for her birthday.

First injury

Well, last week Logan got his first bruise. He was going for the hymnals at church when he nailed his head on the pew in front of him. You can see it on his forehead over his right eye.

Dancing King

Tonight I decided to go onto YouTube to check out some funny videos. So, I was watching one with some cats and there was music playing in the background. This caused Logan to dance, so I got it on video. You can see Brian's shadow on the side. Logan had to check in with him for everything he was doing. So, Brian was dancing with him.

Teasing the cat

So, Mr. Logan is on the go, go, go! He does not even want to stop for a second. Let me tell you, this makes for some good times trying to change diapers! But he has been all over lately. Yesterday he was standing up by the door, sometimes on his tippy toes, just to see outside. He also LOVES chasing the cats. Yesterday he came barreling into the bathroom and Chloe jumped on top of the bathtub thinking Logan couldn't get him. When he realized that Logan can now stand he hid in the bathtub. So, Logan started taunting him.
Which you can see in this video. At one point he even growls at poor Chloe!

MN Zoo

Today we visited the MN Zoo. We went with my sister, Randi, my neice, Sydney, and a friend of mine, Sheila. Brian decided to work instead. But, we had a good time.

Here is Logan, wearing his John Deere shirt, while on a John Deere tractor!

Here is the Grizzly Bear we saw. I think this picture turned out AWESOME! It was cool because you could see him swimming underneath the water too. He came right by us standing at the window. I think Logan really liked it.

Here is Sydney and Logan right in the beginning of the zoo on the giant turtle they have there.
Here is our first picture of the day. Here we have Sheila, Logan, myself, and Sydney sitting in the entrance of the zoo. Randi was taking the picture obviously.

Beloved Elephant

So, Logan sleeps with the Elephant I had as a baby. I walked in the other day and he was snuggling up to my beloved elephant. He looked so cute!
