2 month check

Brenna went to the doctor this morning to get her baby well check. She is doing fantastic.

Here are her stats:

Weight: 10lbs 14 oz
Height: 24 inches
Head: 40 cm

I just looked in Logan's book and he was 10 lbs, 10 oz and 23 inches long. So, she is slightly taller and likes eating more than him. Which is true, she does like eating more than he did.

She got her shots and of course wailed. Which I was sure she was going to do because she is all girl and likes to scream when she needs something. So, she cried and the nurse even made a comment that she "is crying like I just hurt her feelings." Which was exactly how it sounded when she cried. My poor girl. She is peacefully sleeping in her car seat right now.

Brenna

Brenna turns 2 months old tomorrow. She changes every day. She likes to "talk" this one. She always wants to be part of the family during supper time. She also is usually happy unless hungry, tired, or has a dirty diaper.

2 months

Logan had his two month appointment last Monday. He is becoming a big boy! He now weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces. He is 23 inches long and has a 16 inch head! The dr did some feeling of his belly and checking out his eyes and ears. She then checked his neck control and put him on his belly. She said that they way that he was lifting his head up was something that a four month old would do! So, he is a very strong boy. After the dr was done with him he had his shots. He did very well, he didn't cry just "complained" to me about the shots. So he took it really well.

He is starting to "talk" more to us. This last week I went over to my parents and he was "talking" to his cousin Sydney for a long time. It was rather cute!

Our house has had quite a talented bunch lately. We even have the amazing Chloe, the tight-rope walking kitty!

Brian has been sick the last week with broncitis, so we have been watching Logan to make sure that the cough he has doesn't worsen. He takes the cough really well and doesn't cry. He still is the smiling little boy that he usually is.

Other than that the only other excitement that we are looking forward to is the Avenged Sevenfold concert that is coming up here in February. This will be the first full night that we will be away from Logan. We went out for dinner for New Years Eve but that is the only time we have gone out. So, this will be a nice date night for Brian and I.
