Christmas Eve

Brian, Randi, and my dad all decided to go practice shooting a gun on Christmas Eve day. So, I hung out with my mom and the kids. I took that time to mess around with my camera again.

Logan's first day of school

Logan had his first day of preschool on September 10th. His dad and  I walked him up to the school and dropped him off. He seemed pretty scared when he walked in and saw all the commotion. Then he stared getting teary-eyed and asking me to stay. That's when I started crying and then he started crying. It was not a pretty picture. He did end up going in with a little pushing from Kelly the assistant and she said that he had a great day. I had a rough couple hours while he was gone.

He has gone again one day and likes it now. He even asked if he got to go last Thursday when I was home with him. So, I am glad he is starting to enjoy it.

Its rainin'

It was raining a little bit a couple days ago and Logan decided that he needed his umbrella...... after seeing that Grandma had her umbrella of course.

He insisted they go for a walk with their umbrellas also.

The starting of potty training

So, knock on wood, Logan has been in the starting stages of potty training. He has been telling us when he has to go number 2. He won't tell us when he has to go pee but I will take him going number 2 in his big boy potty over in his pants any day! I hope that this starts sticking!

Easter

The Easter Bunny came to visit our house today. It took a little while but Logan finally found his basket. He also found that the Easter bunny brought back his beloved Wii.

He also hid a few eggs for the kids to find. We had Sydney at our house because her mom had to be at work at six in the morning.

Then after we got back from the Marquardt clans Easter, the kids found that the Easter bunny had hid some eggs all around our yard for them to find! Sydney was so very excited!

Brenna hung out in her stroller while they looked for the eggs.

Then after we came back inside I decided to take some cute Easter pictures of her.

This cute little girl also had her six month appointment on Thursday morning. She is weighing in at 17lbs 2 oz. which is the 75 percentile. She is 27 1/2 inches tall, which is in the 96-97th percentile. Her head is also 44 1/2 cm which is in the 95th percentile. She hasn't rolled over yet but the doctor said she is sitting like a champ so she might just skip that step in her development. He thought she was developing great. This girl likes to eat. She eats 3 meals of solids a day and bottles in between. She is a healthy happy baby and she is such a good baby. We got lucky.

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday was the Easter Egg Hunt. It was a little chilly for it, so Grandma and Grandpa Goblirsch watched Brenna for about half an hour so that we could take Logan. Sydney and Nana Marquardt met us there.

Logan even got to meet the Easter Bunny and took a picture with him.

As you can see, it was slightly warmer last year!

Park

A few weeks ago when it finally got a little warmer we walked to the park so that Logan and Sydney could play for a little bit. The kids ended up having fun while Brenna slept in her car seat.
