Christmas Pictures

I tried to get pictures of the kids on Christmas Day, it wasn't happening too well.

Finally, I just took individuals.

They turned out a little better. I just realized we didn't have any family pictures taken, a little bummed about that.

Christmas Day

On Christmas Day we got up early and got ready for the day. I showered, Brian shoveled then showered. Then we woke Logan up, excitedly telling him that Santa had come. He was out of it for a little bit then he wanted to see. So we headed downstairs.
Santa did indeed come! Can you guess the first thing that Logan saw?

If you said the bike, you were right! He was all over it. He loved it. In fact....

he wouldn't even get off to open anymore presents. So, he opened some on the bike.
We finally convinced him to open the rest.

He got a cars comforter for his bed.
And some cars pjs that he had to show me.
Afterwards, it looked like Christmas threw up in my house.

I ended up putting away all the Christmas stuff the day after it was all over. Our house is back to normal.

Christmas Eve

So, after Church on Christmas Eve we went over to my parents house to eat dinner and then open gifts.  This first picture is right after the gifts had been distributed.

This is my grandparents. My dad's parents. They come over every Christmas Eve.
Sydney was told by Jeremy that this gift was indeed a George Forman grill.

This is Logan's big semi from Nana and Papa. He loves semi's. The reason he is shirtless is because he decided right before all the gifts were handed out that he would throw up all over the floor and himself. So, I took his shirt off because it smelled awful.

Christmas Eve Afternoon

We spent Christmas Eve afternoon at Brian's parents house. We enjoyed some lunch and then the guys played Big Buck Hunter for a while. In the afternoon we opened gifts and enjoyed a little family time before we left for Church.

Christmas Cookies

So, we started Christmas cookies on Thursday night and I can finally say that we finished today. Whew. It was a lot of baking but I actually enjoyed it. I had time to enjoy it which was great.

Logan helping me with the Peanut Butter Blossoms.
He was in charge of putting the sugar on them.

 The finished products!!
We also made some roll out cookies as you can tell. Randi and I decorated them by just cutting the edge of a ziploc bag to make piping bags. The kids also helped decorate some cookies as well.

Friday Fun

Last Friday Logan stayed home with me from daycare so I decided that it was a good time to do some Christmas crafts with him. He is much better behaved if he is occupied I will tell you that much. Anyway, we made some Santa's and a Santa hat.

The finished product. I did the white cotton balls and Logan did the rest if you can't tell.
Logan modeling the hat with a genuine smile for once.
 The santa hat close up.
Logan wanted Brenna to try it on.

Oh Christmas Tree

I especially love our Christmas tree this year. It may be due to the fact that I don't have to see them all day at Target. Ha ha!

Christmas Time

Christmas time around this house is really busy. Especially with the job I am in. So, Christmas came really fast this year. I have been exhaused (8:30 bedtime anyone?) and very glad its over.

This was our second year with our wonderful little man. He enjoyed opening presents although after the third or fourth one, he just wanted to give up on them. Grandma and Grandpa Marquardt went a little overboard with his presents but he got a lot of GREAT stuff.

Here is one of his presents that he got from them. Sorry about the crappy pictures they are from my cellphone, it was the closest thing I had and Logan moves fast.

A new Cars chair. I had been telling them that they should get him one of those little squishy chairs because he always was sitting in them at my parents house. This is what they found. He loves it. Its a little wobbly for him yet but he enjoys it!

Here he is watching football with Pooh. Funny story about Pooh. You see he is my neice Sydney's or I should say WAS. I gave Sydney Pooh and Pablo from the Backyardagains. Well, they ended up in a box headed back to our house. Pooh walks and Pablo sings the Backyardagains song. They are both rather noisy but Logan loves them.

I should have taken a picture of our living room. It looks like a toy box exploded all over. Brian unpacked all Logan's toys and had them all set up for him in front of our tv. I will be looking for a Toy box to be on sale here soon. Toys are overtaking my living room and I don't like it!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Holiday season and enjoys the New Year. Think of me.... I will be working. Boo hoo.
