Some new firsts

So, obviously babies go through a lot of "firsts" their first year. Well, Logan has gone through a few more firsts lately.

The first one being that we ate some of Mom's popcicle. He loved it. I think the cold feels good on his gums (no teeth yet!).

The second one being going swimming with Mom and cousin Sydney. He loved swimming. He didn't mind being in the water and he loved splashing around.

He also tried to eat the sand, but I expected that one.

Here he is just hanging out with Mommy.

Lastly my cute boy. Drool and all.

Good food, Good friends, Good time

Last night we went over to the Mertz's for a grill out. We were hoping to have all the kids there. All the ones born last year that is. There would have been seven of them if they all came but we only ended up having five of them. I grabbed my camera too late but I have pictures of the kids playing.

Here is Abby and Logan playing together.

Memorial Day

Here is Logan and Brian about half-way through Memorial day.

This year I took Memorial Day off. We enjoyed it as a family. Logan and I sat in the grass and watched Brian do some yard work. After all the yard work was done Brian and I enjoyed a nice meal on the grill. I took a bunch of pictures (as always) to remember the day.

Here Logan is all ready to go outside.
Brian took a break about half way through and I love this picture because they match. They both have the blue hats, white shirts and blue shorts/pants. I just thought it was too cute!

Logan just watching Daddy.
This is my favorite picture of Logan outside.

6 months already

Our little Logan is growning up really fast. He is six months now. And he is getting such a fun personality! Here are some pictures of him.

Logan is enjoying his bouncer now. He smiles all the time and his giggles are my favorite sound in the whole world.

Here is Logan getting a push on the swings from Cousin Sydney. This was on a Monday night softball night.

Logan is sitting up really well. He gets a little wobbly sometimes but most of the time he just sits and enjoys sitting.

Lastly, we have Chloe, who seems to think he is a baby. He likes to curl up and sleep in here as well.

Friends

Today we went out to eat with the Mertz's and the Kapolczynski's at the Mexican place in town. It was good food.

The reason we all met up is because months ago we took pictures of the kids because they are all roughly two weeks apart. We took pictures of the kids then and then we got pictures of them today. They are all getting so big! Piper is seven months, Noah is six and a half months and Logan is almost six months.

Here they all are when Logan was about two weeks old. (With a little editing from Jen)

Here they are now. Noah, Piper and Logan.

Here is Logan on the way to the restaraunt. Doesn't he look cute in his little sunglasses? His Aunt Randi bought them for him.

Vacation

So, last weekend Brian and I headed off to Wisconsin for a little couples getaway. We went with Jen and Kyle. It was a really good time. It was the first time that we had left Logan thought and although it was hard I am very glad that we did it! We went to the Lenie's Brewery, a vineyard and Green Bay all the first day that we went. Let me just tell you, the vineyard had DELICIOUS wine. Then after the vineyard we went out to eat and then headed to our hotel in Green Bay. When we left it was gorgeous out, about 70 degrees. The next morning it was raining and about 50 degrees. So, the second day we hit up Lambeau field and did a tour of that. It was an interesting tour.

Then we headed off to the Wisconsin Dells. I had never been here, so it was fun to see all the water parks. We checked into our hotel and then headed out to do a couple different sight seeing things. After we ate we headed back to our hotel and did the water slides and lazy river. It was a good time. The next morning we hit up the Exploritory and then headed home to my little guy. I will leave you with a picture from Lambeau.

Happy Easter

We are hoping that everyone had an awesome Easter. This year was Logan's first. We went to Brian's Aunt and Uncles. Lots of food was eaten and lots of people were there. I just wanted share some pictures from the day.

Here is Logan the morning of Easter. As you can tell, he could care less about some bunny hopping around giving everyone candy!

Cousin Sydney came over to go to church with us and she had to make sure that she had her picture taken with Logan.

Our second family picture. I don't like how I look but everyone else looks pretty good.

Here is Logan. He is wishing everyone a "Happy Easter!"
Here is Chloe after his Easter dinner. It was a lot of work being him today.
