Big boy food

Logan has been getting so big lately! After we went up to Brian's sister, Christine's house, I noticed that he has been watching me eat and opening up his mouth when I would put food towards it. So, after we got home I tried giving him some veggies. He opened his mouth right away and he swallowed. So, we have made it through squash (which smells like feet), carrots and green beans. I am starting with the veggies to make sure he doesn't get attached to the sweetness of the fruit, because if he is anything like his mom or dad, he will like the sweet food. So, we will get through the veggies first.

No one has bought our house yet unfortunately. But, we are still hoping it will sell sometime soon here.

This up coming weekend is Brian's grandmother's birthday so we are going to that and we are going to take 4 generation pictures so that we have them.

Its hard to believe Easter is coming up so fast! I am thinking about doing my own little photo session with Logan for Easter so we will see how that turns out.

Cousin Time

This last weekend/ Monday Logan got to hang out with his cousins. Aunt Lori took some pictures of us hanging out.
Here is Lincoln and Logan hanging out together. Logan was sitting by himself for a while.

Here is a picture of Logan sitting on my lap. He looks so cute in this picture. Just so innocent!

This last picture is of Anna, Lincoln and Logan together. (Aunt Christine is hanging out in the background).

4 Months old

Well, Logan is now officially four months old as of the 17th. He is getting to be such a big boy. Today we took him to the dr. for his appointment. He is now weighing in at 14 lbs 3 oz. He is 25 inches long and has a 16 inch head! So, he is a long skinny little man!

He got his shots again this time. We couldn't find his asprin so he didn't get any before we went. He did very well though. He just kind of bickered at us for making him get shots. He didn't have tears or cry so that is good.

Monday night we got to experience Logan giggling for the very first time. It was very fun to see. He hasn't done it since but hearing it once, I can not wait to hear it again.

This weekend we are heading up to Marshall to visit Logan's cousin, Lincoln. He is turning the big 1 year old so we have to go celebrate his big birthday bash with a little food, presents and cake! We are looking forward to it.

Not a whole lot more is new for us. The weekends leading up to Easter will be busy with things going on but it should be a good time. At the end of April we have talked about going on vacation to Wisconsin with the Kapolczynski's so we are looking forward to that as well. It will be the longest I have been away from Logan and I am a little nervous!

Screaming

So, Logan has found his screaming voice. All he seems to do is scream. It can get me rather frustrated at times.

Yesterday was my birthday. I turned the big 28. We went out to eat with Auntie Randi, Sydney, Kyle, Jen, Parker, Piper, Ryan, Molly, Sheila and Lacey at the Lamplighter. Logan decided that he needed to be mad at mom during dinner. He would just scream every time that I would hold him and when I tried talking to him he would just look away from me. So, I did something to make him mad. When we got home he was fine though.
When Logan isn't screaming he has been eating like a horse. We tried a little rice cereal hoping it would hold off his massive appetite but it hasn't.
He is also starting to find a little hint of a giggle. Last night I was tickling him and he is almost ready to giggle but not quite there.
Not much more is happening around here. So, I will end with some pictures.

Cousin Sydney came over for a visit on Monday and wanted to hold Logan. You can tell how big Logan is getting by looking at these pictures.
He was feeling pretty photogenic this day.
Logan looks massive here.
Logan has been rocking a new look lately. The Mohawk!
